Let it Snow!

As promised, here are the pics from yesterday's snow play. Jonah really enjoyed the, as he calls it, "nonah" and would have been willing to stay out much longer than we did. His cheeks just got so rosey that I started to worry. Next time we'll load his cheeks up with vaseline and I'll be more willing to stay out longer.

He seemed to enjoy uncovering various semi-recognizable objects, like his frog sandbox and various large stones ("tone") in the garden. He walked, sat, crawled and lay down on his back in the snow, and enjoyed moving the snow around a bit with his thumbless Vancouver Canucks mittens. Please know that he's a Leafs fan at heart, but I found the mittens in a consignment store for $1.00 and they were exactly what I was looking for. (I'm sure they'd go for more at a consignment store in Vancouver!) They kept his hands very warm! I was impressed! We had even more snow last night and this morning, so now I just need to find some equally warm mittens for myself!
