Quick pics
I've been meaning to post these pics for a little while. I took this picture on our deck last month to show off some of the beautiful fall colors we experience here in Ontario:

Here's Jonah playing in the leaves:

I found some toy doctor tools, read a book to Jonah about going to the doctor and here's the fun that ensued. He says "oto" for otoscope and does the ol' "say ahhh" really well with a tongue depression and all. I hope he can show off these skills at his 18-month checkup!

Finally, we had our first snowfall, so I brought some inside after breakfast and made two snowmen for Jonah. He is very excited about snow and snowmen. His word for both is "no-nah"!? I used this opportunity to emphasize how COLD snow is, and that's why we wear "snow boots" and "snow mittens" to keep us warm!! I enjoyed watching Miles kill these snowmen soon after this picture was taken, but only got video footage!

Another load of snow fell overnight and this morning, so we all went outside for a little fun! I think some of my prep worked because Jonah was willing to wear ALL of his snow gear without a complaint, (even the Vancouver Canucks mittens!) and if you've ever been with me while trying on boots or shoes at a store, you'll know this was an amazing feat! I'll save those pics for tomorrow!
