Backlog

I attempted to blog last week but my internet signal was really slow and I gave up. So, a lot has happened since. Last Saturday we went to "Evans Park" and Jonah was a lot more adventurous than usual. He tried a long tunnel slide and a big boy swing and liked them both!

Jonah met up with another friendly soul. "My name is Seth. People call me Seth." That's how he introduced himself. And he wore the box on his head the entire time (pictured below), even though it was a super hot day. I heard him tell his mother, "This is Jonah. He's two. He told me." Funny - Jonah can have conversations that I'm not even aware of! (Or scary?) Later he introduced us to his 3-year-old brother - not sure if his name was Leslie or Wesley. He was friendly too, and was busy "building a fire" - right up Jonah's alley!

It WAS very hot and Jonah WAS very busy.

I can't remember when we took this picture, but Carla put Jael down in my bed for a minute and Jonah was quite excited about pretending to sleep with her. He got his dog and a bear for Jael.

Glenn, Jer & Erin arrived home Monday. We spent the evening playing Dutch Blitz. "Jerin" won but Glenn put up a good fight.

Tuesday morning we went to the Opryland Hotel and then dropped Carla and Jael off at the airport. It was a great visit! Thanks to Jon and Jedidiah and the people who helped Jon survive a week without Carla!
