I finally got out and spent my birthday money!
I got this pair of Sketchers at DSW Shoes. They are pretty comfortable. I normally wear a size 7 because my feet are wide, but I got these in a size 6 and they are fine. I'm a little disappointed that they are a walking commercial, but hey, what can you do? You can only be picky about so many things, and comfort and coolness were the most important factors for me on this shopping venture.
I got a pair of Rocket Dogs similar to this at Off Broadway. The style is the same, but the canvas pattern I have is a floral with browns, reds and pinks.
I've gotta say, Rocket Dog makes some pretty cool shoes and their website is happenin'. Glenn gave me these Rocket Dogs a few Christmases ago and I still get compliments. They're not terribly comfortable though.
I discovered a brand of shoes called Soft Walk when I was shopping too. The shoes have an over-the-top amount of cushioning. Couldn't find any that I liked... I think the cool factor goes out the window when the comfort factor is #1.
I think these Rocket Dogs might be the next pair of shoes in my future...

Sherri - you have a very unique sense of style when it comes to footwear! Very cool picks! Maybe you could help me find a pair when we're down there (in like 2 weeks!!!!). I'm interested in some Keen Mary-Janes that are simialr to your Sketchers! Can't wait to see you!

I think the Sketchers are pretty cute. I'm not so sure about the RD boots though, but I think you can pull it off. : )
