The things they say...
Jonah is just about himself today, after suffering sleep deprivation for the last week. It's such a relief. He has been saying funny and cute things all day. Here are a few...
We were held up in traffic for a little while this afternoon and finally I caught sight of the reason.
Me: Oh look Jonah, there was a car accident!
Jonah: NO, not an ACcident! ANGRY!
(Reasoning: the cars didn't crash by accident, one of them was angry?)
Also in the car:
Jonah: I'm going to grow LONG legs so I can reach the pedal and play the bass drum!
(an impressive 17-word sentence!)
Jonah has taken to making lists. (I wonder where he got that?) They have mostly been grocery lists, but today he was working on a To Do List... It included:
"hockey"
"store"
And, "I need new [bed]sheets. Yeah, these are REEEALLY dirty."
Ummmmm... I guess I better go change those bed sheets!
Oh, and one cute thing I think he said Sunday and yesterday...
"I need to go to daycare and see my friend Miles."

what kids say, it is neat to write them down. You should not only blog them but put them into a word document so when he is old enough to appreciate the English language you give him a book of his old comments and sayings.
You could call them Jonahisms
