Three year portraits
Since my brother has such a good camera, we decided that he should be able to get at least one good shot of Jonah that could be his 3-year portrait. We got a few good ones! Here are some of my favorites...

We decided to proceed. I gave him a pep talk and somehow managed to pull him out of his slump.

And then we got some great pictures! They were all taken up and across the street on the property of strangers.

This one is possibly my most favorite because it captures Jonah's curiosity. Here he is carefully looking into the lens of the camera, watching the shutter open and close.
Thanks Uncle Mark! Great stuff!!!
Initially we started in the backyard and it wasn't an ideal location. By the time we moved, Jonah had already started to burn out. Yes, he melted down and I really wasn't sure what to do. Quit and give him a break, or persist?

Hey! Nice to see you post a few here. I really love taking pics of this nephew of mine ... just wish he would stay still a little more!
Let me know which one you really want to use ... I might be able to tweak it a bit with some post processing before you go make prints!

I love them all! I'm still struggling with the fact that our kids are turning 3 next week. At the risk of sounding like I'm 80, where has the time gone?
We're going with formal portraits again this year and we're getting them done tomorrow night.
