We're home!

We got home about an hour ago. Jonah is hydrated for now, but very picky about eating and drinking. He just ate some applesauce and now he's off to bed for a nap. He exhausted himself just trying to stand occasionally. He is very weak - I guess that's what 3 days of not walking, eating or drinking will do to you! I'll post a few more pathetic pictures by the end of the night.

We're hoping that getting away from the nurses and doctors and having his IV removed will really help him feel more safe and comfortable, thereby increasing the likelihood that he will eat and drink normally, and just be more 'himself.' It's amazing how much Glenn and I just long for the real Jonah - the one who smiles often and runs around being silly, who doesn't want to sit in our arms and cuddle and cling.

I'm exhausted and starving!
