Words!
Jonah is learning to recognize and sound out a lot of words. The other night I decided to start cutting out some words from the advertisements in the newspaper that I thought he might already know or would be able to figure out. Jonah was excited about it and started finding words himself! The rule is, if Jonah knows the word, we glue it to a another paper. As of this morning, he's up to 38 words!!!
It occurred to me that we could work on some "stories" using the words he knows. We came up with this one. Yeah, tilt your head to your right shoulder - I'm too lazy to fix this.
The other one we did is "Jazz man wins us a hot pizza. Wow!" It's too big to scan and Glenn has our camera with him on this trip -- he's going to the Juno Awards and will be seeing my sister and her family -- obviously HE needed the camera this time.
