Canada is HOT!
Today it was so hot here that we had to go over to Aunt Marg's pool. Jonah isn't thrilled about swimming yet - we suspect the cold water is a turn off. He preferred to walk around the pool and explore the area and various pool toys. In the picture above Jonah is wearing what I affectionately call his "mullet hat." Alas, we must go to great lengths to protect his white boy skin.
For my Tennessee readers - today it was actually hotter here (in Canada!) than it was there in Franklin/Nashville!! Here are the comparisons:
Cambridge's high today was 34 degrees Celcius (that's 93.2 F) [and they said with the humidex it felt like the 40s, again in Celcius]
Franklin's high today was a mere 26 C (that's 78.8 F)

and as for that blasted humidex. . its hard to be an asthmatic all the time, but on days when the humidex is in the 40s. . forget it! central air is God send!
Jonah's so cute. . his little cheeks look flushed there. . no doubt, eh? too hot!! We have a wading pool here for the kiddies, they've already been in it several times this season.

It looks like your humidity was high too! It was a little cooler here today but it was still sticky! Ewww.

It is stinking hot here! Going to Auntie Marg's is probably the best thing you could do under the circumstances! ;-)
That boy needs a tan! He glows whiter than I do!!!

Miles' legs and arms seem to be getting even darker, which does not help Jonah to appear any less white! However, if his momma continues to protect him from the sun the way she does, he's going to have the nicest skin when he's older! :)
