Freeport, Bahamas - Port Lucaya
Our first Port of Call was Freeport, Bahamas. It's not far of the coast of Florida, so the weather wasn't exactly tropical in February. It was a warm day. We hit the beach first, but the water was too cold for the ladies! The men braved the cold waters to do a first snorkeling attempt while the ladies walked off to check out the shopping.

ya the Bahamas was not my favorite stop when I was on a cruise years ago. Although the beach was nice it was apparently not safe for a single white woman to wonder off by herself to go shopping so I just stayed on the beach till we were transfered by bus to the airport to fly home to Canada.
