Thank You Cambridge Midwives!
When having a baby here in Cambridge you have two options through our government's health plan. An OB/GYN or a midwife. We decided to go with a midwife and are SO GLAD we did! The "customer service" is so much better (at least in my experiences going both routes). It's just a much more personal/family and less hurried approach.
Here is my "first" midwife, Misty, holding Bram during one of our home visits after Bram was born. (We are assigned three midwives, one of whom is always on call and available.)

Here is my "second" midwife, Melanie, putting Bram into a little sack to be weighed.

Here we are after Bram's and my 6-week and final appointment. It was actually pretty hard to say good-bye to Misty. Our family definitely felt somewhat attached and our only regret is that she won't be around to deliver our next child (who is NOT on the way yet or anything) as she is moving away. All of our eyes look super blue in this picture thanks to the natural light coming through the window we're facing.

Bye Misty! Thanks for everything! All the best to you and your family! See you on facebook!
