Toy wash!

Glenn’s Uncle Gerry took his family and moved to just outside of Bracebridge, Ontario, where Auntie Barb and a friend are starting up a midwifery practice. The only good thing for us about them moving is that we got some free stuff out of the deal! In fact, over the last week or so, we have scored a bunch of great free stuff for Jonah. I have estimated that if I were to go out and buy those items new it would have cost me about $175USD plus tax! Thanks Gerry, Barb, Gwen & Simone! We'll miss you!

Since most of the items were outdoor toys, Jonah and I had a toy wash this morning.



We cleaned his purple car, yellow angel fish rocker, red teeter totter, and two sand play vehicles: a dump truck and what I think is a bulldozer of sorts. The bulldozer actually came from the son of one of downhere’s booking agents. We picked that up on our brief trip to Warsaw this past weekend. You can see the dozer in the far right corner of this picture: (let me know if you know the proper name for it)



I must confess that I did most of the work and Jonah had most of the fun. A little elbow grease goes a long way, as you can see by comparing the handles in the following picture. Also, note the water shoes Jonah is wearing in the top left portion of the picture – also free loot from this last week.



We don’t have too many people to provide us with hand-me-downs so I’m pretty thrilled about it! Now, we just need to find a clothing source!
