Tuesday

The morning started early. 5:30am to be exact. Ouch. I didn’t nap today either, so I feel TIRED! Jonah napped 11:15 – 12:45 and was in bed and quiet right around 8pm. Hopefully he’ll sleep until 7am!

Jonah’s highlights for the day, not in any specific order…
-feeding fish
-seeing more deer
-swimming in the pool with Daddy
-drinking watered down root beer
-re-learning how to escape the playpen
-learning how to escape our room
-saying “Hi!” to random people in the hallway immediately after escaping our room
-learning how to turn on the indoor waterfall
-eating tomatoes, grapes, oranges, life cereal
-eating sheep (actually, that was yesterday)
-interacting with various members of the Centricity family
-looking at various water features, putting his feet in them, pretending to catch trout and salmon and eating them raw – SUSHI!
-shaking like the wet dog
-impressing Jaime Jamgochian by saying “Hi Jamie Jam! You play piano!” and telling her about various drums

Conversation at the pond…
Daddy: Jonah, who makes dragonflies?
Jonah: God
Daddy: Who makes fish?
Jonah: Nanny!

Sherri’s highlight…
A session by Al Andrews of Porter’s Call. I was going to elaborate here, but I'm running out of time and don't feel like putting forth the effort - sorry! I'll try to do a summary at the end of the week though.

  • i love how little children don't even question when you teach them of God - they just believe. . it's so cool. God can seem so unreal to many adults, yet little children don't have any problem at all.

  • wow it sounds like an amazing place and that Jonah is finding lots of things to amuse him self with.

it is all those small simple things that children do and say the unconditional trust that makes us as adult realize we need to stop and see things through their young innocent eyes and minds

I will miss those Sunday afternoon hangout with my two favorite boys. it just won't be the same with out Jonah. Already missing you little buddy
