And if I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

This afternoon we spent some time at our new hobby - tree identification. We also took additional pictures of the place and the wildlife. Today we saw a snake and a total of 30 deer!

Here's the front view of the house where we are staying:

This is the river down behind us:

Tonight we received another great report on Jonah. We are so happy he is doing well and having fun and that makes it easy for us to kick back and relax here!

  • WOW WOW AND WOW!!!

You hear me talk about my cottage being God's country and my place of total serenity, well I look out at those pictures and I see all the wonder and beauty has created and it totally awes me.

That picture of the deers I would love to use it for the slide shows at the church for when they play the song "As the Deer" Cause it is such an incredable song and your shot is awe taking it would go so fabulously together. May I have your permission to use it?

These shots of the deer just so remind me of
    Psalm 42:1
"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God." .

Thanks for sharing your retreat with us.
