Yes, he was doing fine with leaves until he made some sort of error and decided it was a "silly leaf" and then he had to draw "silly leaves" all over - definitely has a clothesline look to it, I'm with you there. Also note - the pink pear tree also has light green pears on it.
I find it interesting how the pear stems actually hang out the bottom of the pear, because when he and I talked about it while he was drawing, he knew that the stem attached the pear to the branch!? Same with the apples. Kids' brains are so intriguing! What's going on in there?
