The big day
Tomorrow is the big day!!!! Jonah will be Mommy-&-Daddy-free for an entire week! We can't say that we're not a little worried about the whole thing, but, we're going to try to have a GREAT week! Jonah will be in very good, capable, and loving hands.
downhere's new record label, Centricity Records, is holding a retreat for their artists and their spouses this week. How nice & cool is that!?!?!? I actually don't have a lot of information/detail about what the following week holds, however, I'm definitely looking forward to hearing what the counselors from Porter's Call have to say. I also know we will have a pool, hot tub, and workout facility at our disposal. And there is a place to hike... hmmmm... what else? We'll see!
On Saturday we'll be heading back to Seattle where my brother-in-law will be picking us up and taking us to Vancouver. We'll get in a little time with him, my sister, and their son, and then we'll fly home Monday evening.
If we have internet access, I may or may not be blogging. If not, I will eventually let you know how it went! It could take a while. The first day or two back are going to be a bit of a whirlwind as well!

Have a wonderful time! I can't wait to hear all about it. I remember that Porters call thing we all went to a couple of years ago. That was really good.

Good luck Sherri & Glenn with your first full week away together with out your main little man.
Yes he is in wonderful loving caring hands but that does not mean the first time will not be difficult. I will be praying that you relax and enjoy your time away together.
I know the week will feel like a life time but try to enjoy it to the fullest you can.

Wow, I'd love to get our whole band and spouses away on a retreat but we've had no luck with schedules yet (not to mention finances). Us guys in the band, however, will be going on a retreat together by ourselves next weekend. We're going to our drummer's grandparents' cottage on a nearby lake to do some Bible study, song writing, bonding time. Should be fun.
