Guilt trip no more!
This past spring Glenn was super busy. We realized by the end of May that he had only been in town for an average of 11 days, for three months in a row. NOT cool. It was definitely wearing on us. [But fortunately June was a lot less busy.]
Anyway, after much debating and thought, weighing pros and cons, we decided that Jonah and I would spend 4 or 5 weeks of this summer on the road with downhere. It was hard to choose that for us because it would mean I really wouldn't be working much this summer. And of course there were a bunch of other pros and cons I won't go into here. But leading up to the trip and during the first day or two, I was feeling very guilty about the choice we made.
Every day by email I receive a scripture and devotional. The one I read on the second evening of our trip (in our friends' large home) released me from that feeling...
“He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.” Psalm 18:19 (NIV)
God brought me there... and it was because he delighted in me! He loves me that much. And he loves you too!

He also delights in your family and wants the best thing for your family and will make it all work out. How fun for Jonah!!! Sounds like a blast!

Each day is so very precious so it is so very important to spend as much time as you can together when you are together and no guilt trips.
You guys are young and now is the time for what you are doing and God is leading and directing you. Things have been working ok thus far and you must always trust him and he will never lead you two astray.
God Bless you all
Love Lex
