Today I ate bugs!
Today we went to a Butterfly Conservatory for BugFeast and yes, I ate bugs and so did Jonah. [And so did Tracy, Miles and both my parents - I was impressed!] But not to worry, the bugs were pretty well-disguised... The ants gave Jonah's cotton candy a nice crunchy texture. And the crunchiness from the crickets and mealworms in my chocolate treats were overpowered by the crunch from the almonds. At least, I hope that was the almonds. TASTY!!

The butterfly liked my Mom and Jonah put his orange-dipped
finger nearby to entice the butterfly. He did get licked,
or whatever a proboscis does, but it didn't move to his hand.
Jonah wore a bright orange shirt for the butterflies.
Eventually one did land on him, but my Dad wasn't
quick enough to get a picture before it was gone again.

in the garbage. I just couldn't eat it.
